Secure it as you would any sensitive credential. The security of your Duo application is tied to the security of your secret key (skey). If you must co-locate the Duo Authentication Proxy with these services, be prepared to resolve potential LDAP or RADIUS port conflicts between the Duo service and your pre-existing services.
